Minty Mojito Mocktail with a Buzz Recipe

    Preparation Time: Fast

    👩🏼‍🍳 Level Of Difficulty: Easy-Moderate

🍹 Flavor: Fresh, Bubbly and Minty

    💰 Cost: Inexpensive

    Ingredients:

    Instructions:

    1. Muddle the Mint:

      • Place a handful of fresh mint leaves in the bottom of a glass.
      • Use a muddler to gently press the mint until it becomes aromatic. The goal is to bruise it slightly, releasing its fragrant oils. A few taps with the muddler should do the trick.

    2. Shake it Up (Non-Alcoholic Style):

      • Add 6 oz of club soda, 1 oz of lime juice, 1 oz of simple syrup, and 1 ml of Sober(ish) Drops.
      • Vigorously shake the ingredients until they are completely combined and chilled.

    3. Strain and Garnish:

      • Strain the contents of the shaker over a glass filled with ice or you can pop in a straw and drink as is.
      • Top your glass with additional club soda for a refreshing fizz.
      • If you are feeling extra, garnish your Mocktail with lime slices and fresh mint sprigs.

    4. Taste and Adjust:

      • Take a moment to savor your creation.
      • Adjust the taste to your preference by adding more lime juice, simple syrup, or Sober(ish) Drops.

Want to make homemade simple syrup?

    Ingredients:

    • 1 cup water
    • 1 cup granulated sugar

    Equipment:

    • Saucepan
    • Stirring spoon
    • Airtight container (for storage)

    Steps:

    1. Combine Water and Sugar:
      • In a saucepan, combine equal parts water and granulated sugar. For a standard simple syrup, use 1 cup of each.

    2. Heat and Stir:
      • Place the saucepan over medium heat.
      • Stir continuously until the sugar completely dissolves. This typically takes a few minutes.

    3. Bring to a Simmer:
      • Allow the mixture to come to a simmer. It's important to not let it boil; simmering is sufficient to dissolve the sugar.

    4. Dissolve Completely:
      • Keep stirring until the sugar is fully dissolved. You'll notice a clear liquid forming.

    5. Cooling Period:
      • Once the sugar is dissolved, remove the saucepan from the heat.
      • Allow the simple syrup to cool to room temperature. This usually takes around 15-20 minutes.

    6. Transfer to Container:
      • Pour the cooled simple syrup into an airtight container. You can use a glass or plastic container with a lid.

    7. Storage:
      • Store the simple syrup in the refrigerator for up to one month. Ensure the container is sealed tightly to maintain freshness. Mojoito Minty Mocktail
